Dear Friend of the Arts,

The Sandhills Symphony would like to invite you to our Winter/Spring concert, on Sunday, February 19 at 3:00 p.m. in the MPCC Theater/Auditorium at Mid-Plains Community College, 601 State Farm Road.

The Sandhills Symphony is comprised of volunteer musicians who come to perform not just from North Platte, but all over the Sandhills region from towns like Hershey, Wallace, Grand Island, McCook, Imperial, and more. Our musicians play not only because they love to play and enjoy doing it, but also because they know how important music is to our culture and community. It is because of the generosity of our contributors that the orchestra has been able to provide more than 40 years of annual fall and spring concerts. If you have contributed to the Sandhills Symphony in the past, we thank you. If you are considering a donation for this concert season, please know that any amount is appreciated.

Over the past few years, COVID has touched all of our lives and the Symphony was no exception. We didn’t perform for two years and we lost several musicians (some passed away and some retired). We are excited to begin playing again and need your support.

The Sandhills Symphony would like to recognize the donors and businesses who partner with us in giving the gift of music to the community by acknowledging you in our concert programs. Donations received by February 15, 2023 will be listed in this program and also in our next program (Fall 2023). Donations received after that date will be recognized in the following two programs. Donors of $10 or more will be recognized as Friends; $50 or more as Patrons; $200 or more as Benefactors. The Sandhills Symphony maintains 501(c)3 non-profit status so your donations to us are tax-deductible.

We thank you for your support of the Sandhills Symphony and music in our community and region. We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming concerts!
